  • Handle service charge queries, ensuring legal compliance and accurate recovery of costs, and work with the development team on new builds.
  • Analyse service costs, identify budget variations, and provide clear reports to managers for corrective action.
  • Set up exception reports to spot discrepancies and work with managers to resolve issues.
  • Review expenditures to ensure correct allocation and compliance with service charge rules.
  • Support the Revenue Manager with rent and service charge increases, ensuring all schedules are reconciled.
  • Help with the annual budget process, ensuring all income streams are accounted for.
  • Act as the main contact for internal and external queries, explaining rent and service charge calculations to customers and stakeholders.
  • Improve data storage and reporting for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Respond to customer queries quickly and accurately.
  • Assist with processing income and transactional postings and perform bank and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Support finance tasks and accounts payable processes as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and finance functions
  • Experience handling queries from internal and external customers
  • Skilled in using financial software and complex spreadsheets

  • Strong IT, numeracy, and analytical skills
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and prioritisation abilities
  • Effective communication with all levels of staff and customers
  • Capable of processing complex data for business use
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and accountability
  • Able to explain technical financial information to non-experts
  • Strong team player and able to work independently
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, Lookup, IF functions)
  • Experience of managing agents (desirable)
