We are also committed to providing excellent housing and landlord services to all the residents in our existing homes.

The Chair will lead the Committee responsible for overseeing new home building, investment in the existing stock and meeting regulatory and compliance requirements, reporting to Group Board

Key Strategic Skills Requirements

We are seeking a new Board member to join our experienced Board and  skilled executives. We are looking for an individual who shares our values and can bring:

Expertise in property management, health and safety, the development of new affordable housing and land-led development, with strong construction, commercial business and communication skills and a proven ability in risk assessment and management. Together with an understanding of the role and interactions of the supply chain and the economics of the affordable housing market.

Commitment 

The minimum requirement will be an average one day per month to attend meetings, mostly held remotely via MS Teams, with attendance at our Head Office around 3-4 times a year.

There would also be a required commitment to CPD through conferences, training and workshops. You will receive a detailed induction programme so as to familiarise yourself with the way we work and our operating environment.

First round interviews will be held remotely (via MS Teams) on Wednesday 14 May 2025

Second round interviews (in person at our Head Office in Peterborough) will be held on Friday 6 June 2025

There will also be the requirement to attend/observe a committee meeting, prior to appointment.
